General Leopoldo O'Donnell y Joris, Count of Lucena and Duque of Tetuan.


He was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands) in 1809 and died in Biarritz in 1867. He was a distinguished politician and member of the military. Captain-General in Cuba and Minister of War and then President of the Government. He took part in the African war (1859-1860) and he later became President of the Government again in 1865.
